FULL DESCRIPTION
Mechanic
Location: Billingshurst
Salary: £27,000 - £28,000 per annum
Summary
Our client is looking for a fully experienced mechanic for vehicle servicing and repairs of the company's own fleet of Cars, vans, light commercial and HGV (7.5 tonne and 13 tonne) approx. 80 in total.
Responsibilities
- Repairs, maintains, inspects vehicles.
- Completes diagnostic tests using manual tools and technological devices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as Mechanic GNVQ Level 3 qualified.
- Excellent knowledge of vehicles, electrical and other systems and their components
- Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints etc.
- A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
- Very good communication skills
- A problem-solving ability
- Very good physical strength and stamina
HGV licence would be an advantage but not essential.
