Field Engineer (Lift Service & Minor Repairs)

Dorset / Hampshire Region - Full-Time | Hybrid Working Available

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lift Service Engineer to join a growing and well-established engineering business operating across the Dorset and Hampshire area.

This role offers a structured workload, a defined regional patch, and strong earning potential with overtime and call-out opportunities.

The Role

  • Carrying out planned maintenance, servicing, and minor repairs on passenger and goods lifts
  • Attending breakdowns and performing fault-finding across a variety of manufacturers and control systems
  • Ensuring all work meets current industry standards and safety regulations
  • Managing your own service route efficiently
  • Delivering a high standard of customer service on-site

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (essential)
  • Proven experience in lift servicing and maintenance
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Good knowledge of LOLER and BS EN standards
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
  • Able to provide references
