About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Estimator to join a growing and dynamic business within the manufacturing/construction sector. This is a key role within the commercial team, focused on delivering accurate, timely, and competitive quotations while supporting business growth and customer success.

You'll play an important part in ensuring the estimating function operates efficiently, balancing speed, accuracy, and commercial performance. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you'll help drive strong conversion rates and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and assess incoming enquiries, identifying and escalating any risks or missing information
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotes and estimates
  • Follow up on quotations in line with internal processes
  • Act as the commercial owner of quotations, ensuring they are accurate, deliverable, and competitive
  • Collaborate with external sales teams to maximise conversion opportunities
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
  • Support smooth handover of orders to operational teams
  • Work closely with production and planning teams where required
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sales and estimating processes
  • Adapt flexibly to support wider sales and commercial activities

About You

  • Previous experience in an estimating or internal sales role, ideally within construction or manufacturing
  • Strong commercial awareness with the confidence to challenge and clarify information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach
