Mechanic (Chester)
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking for a dedicated Mechanic to join their state-of-the-art centre in Chester. This is a full-time, permanent position with an average of 43.83 hours per week, offering a basic salary of £31,000–£38,000 and OTE of £37,000–£44,000 depending on qualifications and an uncapped bonus structure.

Your Responsibilities
- Carry out service, diagnostic and repair work efficiently and competently.
- Utilise previous multi-franchise experience to confidently diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models, including non-brand vehicles.
What we're looking for
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent City & Guilds / BTEC) qualified.
- Bosch certification is desirable.
- Proven experience within a franchised dealership environment.
- Skilled in fault diagnosis and repair across a wide range of makes and models.
- Technical knowledge with ability to use and adapt to different manufacturer diagnostic systems.
- Experience working to manufacturer standards, including warranty compliance and accurate job card completion.
- Ability to deliver first-time fixes within agreed timescales while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Self-motivated team player with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Committed to continuous development and keeping up to date with evolving vehicle technology.
- Confident using diagnostic equipment and relevant computer systems.
- Full valid UK driving licence.
