[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking for an Account Manager to join our growing team! As an Account Manager, you will act as the key day-to-day client contact, managing relationships and taking responsibility for the delivery of several medium-sized projects.

What you’ll do

  • Client delivery: Act as day-to-day client contact; provide regular status updates; manage client expectations; take client briefs and implement project plans.
  • Take responsibility for day-to-day account management, including processes, flow of work, delegation, and status of jobs.
  • Ownership of medium-sized client projects, ensuring delivery within budget and timeframes.
  • Demonstrate understanding of clients’ needs and preferences.
  • Confidently develop written content and review junior team members’ work.
  • Business development: Identify areas for growth; take active role in new business.
  • Team management: Maintain awareness of professional development of junior team members; develop coaching, delegation, and briefing skills.
  • Financial management: Develop understanding of account finances; manage Salesforce opportunities, invoicing, forecasting; develop budgets; manage project budgets; input into resourcing.
  • Agency environment: Participate in internal initiatives; immerse yourself in medical communications and pharma industries.

  • Relevant degree in a scientific subject
  • Highly organised with mindfulness of deadlines
  • Independent thinker with ownership of assets
  • Ability to mentor junior staff
  • Confidence to manage upward
  • Strong work ethic with track record of high-quality deliverables
  • Ability to develop project scopes and vendor contracts
  • Excellent business communication ability
  • High energy, ability to operate in fast-paced environment
