Role Summary

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Warehouse Operatives are responsible for safe and efficient unloading/loading of freight, and supporting delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] in a professional manner
  • Follow all aspects of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Manual Handling and safe working policies, including correct use of PPE
  • Observe and adhere to all [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] procedures and policies
  • Handle all freight with care and attention
  • Access and egress vehicles using correct means
  • Use correct equipment for handling and moving all freight
  • Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving site
  • Report all damages immediately to line manager
  • Ensure all freight loaded/unloaded matches paperwork/scanner information
  • Ensure customers freight is transported, stored safely and treated with respect
  • Ensure security of freight and company assets
  • Ensure warehouse is kept tidy and H&S issues reported immediately
