Role Summary

Warehouse Operatives are responsible to ensure the safe and efficient unloading and loading of freight from vehicles into, and from the site. They will also support the delivery operation to ensure the correct freight is loaded to complete the delivery routes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] in a professional manner at all times
  • Follow all aspects of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Manual Handling and safe working policies, including correct use of all PPE
  • Observe and adhere to all [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] procedures and policies
  • Handle all freight with care and attention
  • Access and egress vehicles using correct means
  • Use correct equipment and methods for handling freight
  • Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving site
  • Report all damages immediately to line manager
  • Ensure freight being loaded/unloaded matches paperwork/scanner information
  • Ensure customers' freight is transported and stored safely
  • Ensure security of freight and company assets
  • Keep warehouse tidy and report H&S issues immediately
