Role Summary

Warehouse Operatives at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] ensure safe and efficient unloading and loading of freight from vehicles, and support the delivery operation to load correct freight for delivery routes.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] professionally at all times
• Follow all aspects of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Manual Handling and safe working policies, including correct use of PPE
• Observe and adhere to all [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] procedures and policies
• Handle all freight with care and attention
• Access and egress vehicles using correct means
• Use correct equipment and methods for handling and moving freight
• Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving site
• Report all damages immediately to line manager
• Ensure freight loading/unloading matches paperwork/scanner information
• Ensure customer freight is transported and stored safely
• Ensure security of freight and company assets
• Keep warehouse tidy and report H&S issues immediately
