FULL DESCRIPTION

Class 1 Nights

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Class 1 Nights Driver for the Durham depot. This is a permanent, nightshift position. Salary: £35,500 per annum (£15.17 per hour). Closing Date: 30 June 2026.

Role Summary

To transport goods to and from customers’ premises and central hubs into the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] delivery network. Requires ability to work to deadlines and manage on-road routes for time-sensitive deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Proven track record of driving vehicles safely and legally, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
Understand and comply with drivers' hours and WTD legislation
Carry out necessary vehicle checks and report defects correctly
Comply with on-site health and safety requirements
Experience to divert cross country to and from the hub as conditions dictate

Essential Criteria

HGV 1/C+E Licence
No more than 6 points on licence, no DD/DR code convictions
Valid current DCPC Card
