FULL DESCRIPTION

Assistant Project Manager

London, Greater London

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic Structures division. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a major structural refurbishment project. As our Assistant Project Manager, you will support the site team while coordinating all ground investigation, stabilisation works and highways civil improvements. This is a permanent full-time position, based in London.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supporting with sub-contractor site management
  • Working alongside the Project Manager and Contracts Manager ensuring that the project is set up correctly with appropriate resources allocated for the works
  • Pro-actively manage any changes in project scope
  • Managing sub-contractors performance and technical capabilities
  • Preparing or assisting in the production of the contract programme
  • Ensuring that works are set up and maintained in accordance with the Structure Works Package Plan

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous structures, engineering or highway infrastructure experience
  • Knowledge of steel fabrications and a background in engineering works
  • CSCS and SMSTS card
  • Full UK driving licence
