About the Role

At [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], our Process Operators play a critical role in the safe and efficient operation of our Monomer production facilities. These are Upper Tier COMAH sites, and safety, quality and operational discipline are at the heart of everything we do.

What you’ll be doing: You’ll operate plant and equipment in line with approved operating procedures, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest SHE standards. Working independently for substantial periods, you’ll monitor plant conditions, respond to deviations, and carry out routine start-ups and shutdowns to support maintenance and improvement activity. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support non-routine activities such as project work and commissioning.

What we’re looking for: You’ll have experience of working in a process, chemical or hazardous manufacturing environment, with a strong safety mindset and attention to detail. You’ll be comfortable problem-solving, working as part of a small shift team, and using basic mechanical awareness to support frontline operations. Good communication skills, numeracy and IT literacy are important, as is the ability to maintain focus in a 24/7 operating environment. A forklift licence is desirable, or a willingness to train.

Qualifications: A minimum of 4 GCSEs (including Maths and English) or equivalent relevant industrial experience.
