About the Role

Our flagship [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] retail store at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Farm in Gloucestershire is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Retail Store Manager to lead the overall performance and day-to-day operations of the store. This role is responsible for driving sales, profitability, and cost control, while delivering exceptional operational standards and a consistently elevated guest experience. You will lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of personalised service, styling expertise, and proactive client engagement.

With a strong focus on relationship-led retail, you will champion high-touch clientele, building and maintaining long-term relationships with VIP clients and ensuring every interaction reflects [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s values of mindful luxury, craftsmanship, and hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales, margin, and EBITDA targets in partnership with the Retail Director
  • Drive key KPIs including sales, conversion, ATV, and client acquisition
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and commercial planning
  • Deliver and champion a luxury, hospitality-led customer experience
  • Coach the team to achieve exceptional service standards and resolve customer queries
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and continuously enhance the client journey
  • Build and manage a high-value client portfolio, driving loyalty and repeat business
  • Deliver personalised styling and shopping experiences
  • Support client outreach, events, and CRM activity
  • Oversee day-to-day store operations, rotas, and wage control
  • Ensure strong stock management, accuracy, and loss prevention
  • Maintain high standards across store presentation and back of house
  • Lead, engage, and develop a high-performing, commercially focused team
  • Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver events and cross-brand experiences

About You

  • Proven experience in luxury retail leadership, with a strong track record of delivering sales and service excellence.
  • Deep understanding of clientele, personal shopping, and relationship-led selling.
  • Strong product and brand knowledge, with appreciation for craftsmanship, sustainability, and luxury customer expectations.
  • Commercially minded with strong initiative and a proactive approach to building client relationships.
  • Highly organised and adaptable, able to balance operational leadership with personalised client service.
  • Strong retail management capability including team leadership, performance management, and coaching.
  • Commercial acumen with experience managing KPIs, budgeting, and sales performance.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and client data management to support targeted outreach and personalised service.
  • Team Player, naturally warm, confident, and professional, with a genuine passion for hospitality and client experience.
  • Flexible and willing to work weekends, some evenings and bank holidays as required.
