Distribution Coordinator

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Limited is seeking a Distribution Coordinator to join the team in Gillingham (moving to Sittingbourne Jan 2027). This is a permanent full-time role with a salary of £30,000 per year.

  • Location: Gillingham, Kent
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00-14:30, with flexibility
  • Salary: £30,000 per year

Your Team

The Distribution team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Limited provides the vital link between food production and customers. The team ensures deliveries across the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] network are carried out according to Health & Safety regulations and delivered at the right place, time, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

  • First line of support and troubleshooting for day-to-day operational challenges.
  • Driver supervision via pre/post shift briefings.
  • Support with administration on driver and vehicle compliance records.
  • Ensure Health & Safety regulations are met for all distribution activities.
  • Support daily load planning and associated administration to optimise fleet utilisation.
  • Create and manage KPI reports for cost and performance.
  • Any other admin tasks required for distribution operations.
  • Flexibility with working arrangements over 24/7 operations.

Requirements

  • Experience in distribution, logistics, or transport industry.
  • Experience with contractor relationships.
  • Experience of HGV and MHE operations.
  • Vocational training relevant to the position (e.g., Health and Safety).
  • Excellent Excel skills for creating and updating reports.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
