Job Description

Our client is committed to providing a nurturing environment and a high-quality education for all pupils and is seeking a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join them on a long-term basis starting ASAP, the role is full time working Monday to Friday.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join our friendly and supportive Primary School in Leeds. The successful candidate will be a qualified Key Stage 1 Teacher and will play a pivotal role in shaping young minds at this crucial stage of their education. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons to KS1 students in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, providing tailored support where needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for all children.
  • Participate in school events, professional development, and other activities as required.

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified teacher (QTS required) with experience or interest in teaching KS1.
  • ECT’s are welcome to apply.
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum for Key Stage 1 and a minimum of 6 months experience teaching in the UK.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for teaching.
