Field Service Engineer
Salary: £38000 - £42000 per year
Location: Pontefract (field-based UK-wide)
Type: Permanent, Full Time
Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Mechanical Service Engineer – CNC Machines
Key Duties
If Mechanically biased
- Perform machine tool servicing, installation, checks, and alignments
- Conduct fault finding and diagnosis on CNC machine tools
- Work independently across customer sites throughout the UK and Europe when required
- Support customers with technical guidance and resolution of mechanical issue
If Electrically biased
- Carry out fault finding and diagnosis on CNC machine tools using oscilloscopes and other electrical test equipment
- Perform circuit testing and drive/power supply replacement
- Support customers with electrical issues on CNC machines
What You Need
- Qualifications in mechanical engineering or maintenance
- CNC knowledge of and experience working with/maintaining
- Lathes, milling machines and turning machines
