Electrical Supervisor

This is a hands-on, site-based role where you’ll take responsibility for the successful delivery of electrical building services packages, leading site teams and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

The Role
As Electrical Supervisor, you’ll take ownership of electrical works on site from start to finish, acting as a key point of contact between operatives, subcontractors, clients and the wider project team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the delivery of mechanical building services projects from start to completion.
- Supervising and coordinating on-site operatives and subcontractors.
- Ensuring site operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
- Upholding and enforcing company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) procedures at all times.
- Carrying out site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular monitoring of safe working practices.
- Participating in client, consultant, and main contractor meetings.
- Supporting workload planning and allocation of operative resources.
- Maintaining strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Completing and managing all required construction SHEQ documentation.
What You’ll Bring
- Time served electrician with extensive experience in the supervision of electrical building services projects.
- Previous experience working on electrical construction projects, ideally within an M&E contracting environment.
- Strong working knowledge of construction SHEQ requirements and associated documentation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams on busy live sites.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet tight programme deadlines.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office packages.
Essential Qualifications
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- 18th Edition with Current IET Wiring Regulations – BS 7671
- Current JIB Grading Card
