Air Conditioning Engineer

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Services is seeking a dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join their mobile team in Birmingham, covering the West Midlands. The role involves installation, repair, and planned preventative maintenance of air conditioning systems, with a company vehicle provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out installation, repair and planned preventative maintenance of air conditioning systems.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety procedures across all contracts.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Contract Manager, Contract Administrator, Supervisor, Helpdesk and Engineers.
  • Stay informed on industry standards and best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.
  • Prepare and provide quotations for repairs or as requested by the client.

What We Are Looking For

  • City and Guilds NVQ Diploma Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning as a minimum.
  • Previous experience in maintenance, repair and installation of air conditioning units, including VRF units.
  • Ability to perform manual tasks including manual handling, working at height and in confined spaces, and willingness to participate in on-call rota.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Self-motivated and solutions focused, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
