The Role
This role sits within [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Finance. The Partner Monitoring Lead is responsible for the day-to-day ownership and effectiveness of partner monitoring, ensuring IARs and Credit Brokers operate within their permissions, comply with regulatory expectations, and consistently deliver good customer outcomes. The role also develops an oversight framework to directly monitor Appointed Representatives as the business evolves.
Responsibilities
- Operational Ownership of the IAR & Partner Monitoring Framework
- Subject Matter Expertise on partner monitoring, escalation, and remediation
- Partner Onboarding including permissions checks and marketing material review
- Due Diligence assessing financial stability and regulatory permissions
- Risk-Based Monitoring tailored to partner size and conduct risk
- Compliance Oversight of partner websites and marketing
- Data & Analysis of complaints and customer feedback
- Training & Engagement for partners and internal teams
- Automation & Infrastructure to improve scalability
- Governance & Reporting for FCA and internal reviews
What We're Looking For
- AR/IAR Oversight Experience within an FCA-regulated firm
- Strong working knowledge of SUP 12
- Consumer Duty Expertise (PRIN 2A)
- Financial Promotions Rules familiarity
- Framework Design ability end-to-end
- Data-Driven Approach with MI interrogation
- Technology & Automation experience
- Judgement & Autonomy to operate independently
- Partner Engagement skills
- Regulated Credit Knowledge of consumer hire or credit broking
