About the Role

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Head Office is recruiting a reliable, customer-focused Catering Assistant with barista experience to support the catering operation within a busy corporate workplace. You'll play a key role in preparing and serving food and drinks to a consistently high standard, supporting the team to deliver an efficient service that delights customers every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve perfectly crafted coffees and beverages to a high standard
  • Prepare and serve high‑quality food offerings in line with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] standards
  • Deliver first‑class customer service in a professional corporate environment
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and well‑presented coffee and service area
  • Confidently operate coffee machines and brewing equipment
  • Learn and apply knowledge of brewing methods, beverage blends, and food presentation
  • Receive and process payments (cash and card transactions) accurately
  • Maintain stock levels of clean cups, plates, and consumables
  • Carry out daily equipment checks and report any maintenance or safety issues
  • Comply with Food Safety, Hygiene, and Health & Safety requirements at all times

  • Work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast‑paced facilities environment

  • Previous catering or customer service experience, ideally with barista skills
  • Confident using coffee machines and brewing equipment

  • Excellent timekeeping, reliability, and attendance
