We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager – Equipment Hire & Services (Major Projects Midlands) to join our team in Milton Keynes. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project or account management professional to play a key role in delivering strategic onsite opportunities, managing high-profile projects, and developing long-term customer relationships across major developments within the UK&I.

About the Role

We’re looking for a high performing Business Development Manager to drive sales, unlock new opportunities and grow our presence across major construction sites in the Midlands.

Working with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s equipment rental and site services offering, you’ll be at the heart of some of the UK’s most high profile developments.

This is a hands on, field focused role where success is measured by your ability to build relationships, increase market share on construction sites, spot opportunities early and convert them into long term, high value partnerships.

Key responsibilities as a Major Project Manager:

  • Driving revenue growth across major construction projects
  • Identifying and securing new onsite opportunities
  • Building strong relationships with key decision makers on site
  • Identifying new account leads and opportunities

  • Desirable but not essential sales or business development experience (ideally within construction, plant hire or related sectors)
  • A proactive, target driven mindset with a passion for winning new business
  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
  • Confidence working on site and engaging with multiple stakeholders
  • The ability to spot opportunities and act fast
