What You'll Need
- Essential: Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, knowledge of EYFS, commitment to professional development, positive attitude.
- Desirable: Experience in Early Years, paediatric first aid certificate, safeguarding training, food hygiene certificate.
What You'll Be Doing
- Work as part of a team to provide a home-from-home environment
- Keep accurate records and reports
- Model best practice in line with regulatory guidelines
- Support the Room Leader to ensure high standards of early years care
Responsibilities
- Friendly approach with parents, children, and colleagues
- Provide a safe, stimulating, educational environment
- Maintain a clean, organised, homely environment
- Implement interesting, inspiring activities for learning through play
- Build relationships with key children, record interests and achievements
- Communicate with parents via Satchel app, face-to-face, or reports
- Follow company policies and procedures
