Regional Director

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Limited is hiring a Regional Director to lead multiple nurseries across the UK. This remote role involves strategic leadership, operational excellence, and commercial management.

  • Location: Remote (with regional travel)
  • Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum

About the Role

As Regional Director, you will hold full responsibility for the operational, commercial, and people performance across a cluster of nurseries. Reporting to the Chief Early Years Officer, you will lead a team of Area Managers to deliver outstanding outcomes, while ensuring financial sustainability and a consistent [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] experience.

What You’ll Need

  • Significant multi-site leadership experience within early years or childcare
  • Proven track record of driving operational and commercial performance
  • Strong P&L management experience including budgeting, forecasting and cost control
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, including managing managers
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted, EYFS and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage at senior stakeholder level
  • Highly organised, resilient, and able to manage complex challenges
  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Commercial & Financial: Own full regional P&L, driving revenue, occupancy and cost performance
  • Operational Excellence: Review nursery performance and implement improvement plans
  • Growth & Acquisition: Support identification and evaluation of new nursery opportunities
  • Leadership: Lead, coach and develop Area Managers
