Contract Type: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: £13.00-£13.70 per hour (full time equivalent £27,248 - £28,715.20)

What You’ll Need
Essential:
- A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
- A positive, can-do attitude
Desirable:
- Previous experience in an Early Years setting
- Current paediatric first aid certificate
- Safeguarding and child protection training
- Current food hygiene certificate
What You’ll Be Doing
- Work as part of a team and provide a home from home environment
- Keep and maintain accurate records and reports
- Model best practice in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Support the Room Leader to ensure highest standards
Responsibilities
- Use a friendly approach with parents, carers, children, and colleagues
- Provide a safe, stimulating, educational environment
- Maintain a homely, clean, and organised environment
- Implement interesting activities for learning through play
- Build relationships with Key Children, record interests and achievements
- Be available for Key Children; responsible for their care and development
- Communicate with parents via Satchel app, face-to-face, or reports
- Follow company Policies and Procedures; share safeguarding responsibility
