Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Starting at £27,000 per annum (full-time 40 hour per week equivalent)

What You’ll Need
Essential
- Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract data from different sources to provide information required by the business.
- To be proficient in reconciling different types of data and to identify any anomalies and be able to correct any issues found.
- Ability to learn new systems and workflows in line with company requirements.
- Knowledge of Payroll routines and RTI processing, use of previous payroll solutions, knowledge of auto-enrolment duties.
- Experience of working in the Childcare sector and with multi-site businesses is advantageous but not essential.

What You’ll Be Doing
As an Accounts Assistant, you will:
- To assist the Payroll Manager in the timely processing of payroll for various nurseries across the group, this will involve liaison with an outsourced provider and responding to queries regarding employee pay.
- Assisting the Finance Manager in preparing month end journals to calculate Revenue, Prepayments and accruals in line with specified timetables.
- Various analytical tasks to support the month end and year end processes which could be required to support the wider finance team and for audit purposes.
- Any other ad-hoc financial administrative tasks that the business requires from time to time.
