Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Activities Coordinator to join our team at Highfield Park. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents by designing and delivering a varied programme of activities that promote independence, wellbeing, and social engagement. You will also oversee the daily operation of our on-site café, ensuring it is a welcoming hub for residents, staff, and visitors.

16, 20 or 40 hour contracts available

Key Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in delivering the provision of activities, focussing on functional daily living skills whilst reducing risk issues.
  • Deliver activities on a one-to-one basis as well as group sessions comprising of meaningful therapeutic activities, to promote independence and wellbeing.
  • Monitor and evaluate resident participation and progress, adapting activities as needed.
  • Prepare reports for reviews and maintain accurate records for compliance. Capture engagement and auditing activity/education files, activity risk assessments, and assessments of daily living skills.
  • Manage the café as a social hub, ensuring high standards of food hygiene and safety.
  • Oversee stock control, cash handling, and daily café operations.
