The Vacancy

About the job

As a Customer Marketing Executive, you will be at the heart of our customer marketing team, delivering day-to-day activities that bring our advocacy and customer marketing programme to life. From managing advocate relationships and coordinating customer content to running email campaigns and supporting the growth of our thought leader community, this role sits at the centre of the programme's operational delivery.

This is a newly created role within a growing team, with real scope to develop as the programme scales and your expertise grows.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate the production of video testimonials and written case studies, managing customer liaison, briefing, and handoff to production teams
  • Manage day-to-day communications for the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Education thought leader community, keeping members informed and engaged between formal events
  • Deliver planned campaigns to customer segments across relevant channels, including budget season content, compliance guides, product tips, and peer insight communications
  • Support delivery of product-specific retention campaigns across the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Education portfolio
  • Maintain the advocate and customer database, ensuring contact records, engagement history, and content preferences are accurate and current
  • Track and report on programme engagement metrics monthly, providing clear and accurate updates to support senior stakeholder reporting
  • Work cross-functionally with Content, Demand Generation, and Customer Success to align activity across the broader marketing programme

About you

You are organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams at once, with a genuine interest in building relationships with customers.

You'll bring:

  • Experience in a marketing, customer engagement, or customer-facing execution role
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage concurrent workstreams and meet deadlines
  • Good written communication, with experience creating clear, professional content for external audiences
  • Comfort working cross-functionally and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Attention to detail, particularly around data accuracy and customer communications

Bonus if you have:

  • Familiarity with CRM or marketing automation tools such as Marketo, HubSpot, or Salesforce
  • Exposure to B2B, edtech, or a sector serving schools or public institutions
