Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s UK Public Affairs and Policy team, part of our wider Corporate Affairs department, and play a key role in supporting our advocacy efforts and strengthening our political engagement.

The successful candidate will play a leading role in driving forward our external political engagement programme – building strong relationships across Westminster and Whitehall, and deepening our links with Parliamentarians, think tanks, and other key influencers.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s political engagement strategy, developing relationships across Parliament, political parties, and key stakeholders, including political advisers and influential think tanks.
  • Lead the successful delivery of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s party conference programme and manage a growing agenda of MP meetings, parliamentary roundtables, and political events.
  • Help build member satisfaction by engaging with in External Affairs Committee sessions and exploring creative ways to keep members updated on our work and impact.
  • Support briefing activities for the Chief Executive, Chair, and senior colleagues, and provide counsel on political dynamics, messaging, and engagement opportunities.
