The core responsibilities of this role are to support the development and delivery of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] policy positions and operational projects on priority areas identified by the capital markets and wholesale banking industry. This will involve you taking an agile approach, working closely with your colleagues in the Capital Markets & Wholesale policy team and other stakeholders to support the development and delivery of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] advocacy on behalf of our members.

Responsibilities

  • Support policy work on the FCA’s Handbook, CMA merger control, PISCES regime, National Security and Investment Act, Takeover Code, and market transformation.
  • Manage key member committees and working groups.
  • Engage with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] members, regulatory bodies, and government officials.
  • Support advocacy on HM Treasury and UK government capital markets reform agenda.
  • Contribute to cross-cutting topics intersecting primary and secondary markets.
