Associate, Fund Finance - Private Wealth

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] has been at the forefront of private markets investing for more than 40 years. We manage approximately $82.3 billion in AUM and are seeking an Associate for our International Private Wealth Fund Finance team in London.

Location: London, Greater London, England, United Kingdom

Purpose of Position

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Ventures (“[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]”), a $84.8B multi-strategy investment firm, is seeking an Associate, Fund Finance for its International Private Wealth strategy. The candidate will play a key role in the ongoing launching of new funds and products. The individual will join the Private Wealth Operations team based in London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Private Wealth Operations team to provide financial and operational support.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with internal/external clients.
  • Provide financial and operational support for the set-up of new structures or funds.
  • Fund accounting review for International Private Wealth products.
  • Review and approval of fund expenses and management/performance fees.
  • Review and approval of fund reporting and regulatory reporting.
  • Oversight of third-party fund administration providers.
  • Assist with external audits for Private Wealth products.
  • Review and approve capital events such as calls, distributions and equalisations.
  • Ensure applicable control and risk frameworks are adhered to.
  • Complete other ad-hoc projects and support Investor Relations.
  • Provide transaction support for acquisitions and creation of new entities.
  • Attend investment team meetings to understand deal pipeline.

Knowledge & Experience Required

  • Recognised accounting qualification.
  • Broad knowledge of Private Equity, Private Credit and/or Multi-Strategies, semi-liquid products such as SICAV’s.
  • Customer focused with a passion for quality and efficiency.
  • Strong risk and control mindset.
  • Experience in designing and monitoring internal controls.
  • Ability to lay out processes and controls in clear formats.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Proficient Excel skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Professional scepticism and problem-solving ability.
