Location: Bybrook Barn, On-site

Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Food Hall team. You will replenish stock and help customers with queries. Previous food retail experience is a bonus but not required.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Operating and covering Tills (training given)
  • Regular manual handling and lifting of heavy items
  • Helping customers with enquiries
  • General housekeeping of the Foodhall
  • Replenishment and merchandising of stock
  • Adhering to legal requirements – stock rotation, date checking, temperature monitoring
  • Ensuring date checks on food
  • Assisting in other parts of the business as required
  • Ensuring products are correctly priced, clearly marked and displayed safely

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Enthusiastic and approachable
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Willingness to develop and learn
  • Good customer service skills
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Previous experience within food retail (preferred but not required)
  • Food safety qualification (preferred but not required)
