Senior HR Advisor

The role involves partnering with senior leadership, driving talent and engagement initiatives, managing HR operations, and supporting organisational change.

The Senior HR Advisor reports into the Market HR Director to work as part of a team to deliver day to day HR support to circa 300 employees across 3 offices in UK & Ireland (London, Brighton, and Dublin). This role will be based in London and the job holder will be a primary contact for the UK and Ireland business. The individual will assist the Market HR Director to implement and deliver Group HR projects in the local market.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder and Leadership Support: Act as a trusted HR business partner to the UK and Ireland senior leadership teams; support organisational change initiatives; collate and interpret statistics; focus on risk management; support managers in handling disciplinary, grievances, capability procedures, performance improvement plans and absence management.
- Driving the Talent and Engagement agenda: Support delivery of the people agenda with clear KPIs; drive engagement forward; identify and develop talent; drive employee development; take ownership of Group HR projects; drive diversity and inclusion.
- HR Operations, Policy, Process & Continuous Improvement: Oversee all elements of the HR life cycle; support HR audits; identify process improvements; work with Group HR colleagues; endorse key HR documents; embrace new technology; assist with payroll as required; manage HR Administrators; respond to complex HR queries.
Key Requirements
- A relevant degree in Human Resources or Business is preferred; however equivalent experience is acceptable.
- Approximately five years of generalist HR experience, preferably in financial services.
- Experience in a complex international business with matrix reporting lines is a must have.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders and provide practical solutions.
- Good understanding of UK and Ireland employment legislation.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent professional accreditation.
- Confident communicator experienced in managing multiple stakeholders.
