[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring due to a major expansion, marked by the opening of a brand-new manufacturing facility in Rotherham, just 5 minutes from Meadowhall shopping centre. [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] operates from a 390,000 sq. ft facility and is a leading engineering and manufacturing company. We provide services to OEMs in defence, security, construction, quarrying, recycling, and rail. In-house capabilities include large format Laser Cutting, Press Braking, CNC Precision Machining, Fabrication & Welding, Shot Blasting, Painting, and Assembly.
About the Role
- Jig and fixture detailing using CAD systems (2D and 3D) using Autodesk Inventor
- Plan manufacturing routings
- Procurement of engineering parts
- Liaise with other departments for support (NPI activities)
- Develop and implement factory layout improvements
- Process analysis, review, development, and implementation of improvement plans
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing techniques
About You
- UK citizenship or UK SC clearance
- Experience designing fixtures for fabrication
- Design software experience – Inventor desirable
- Experience using CAD systems
- Excellent communication skills
