Rate: £16.48 per hour
Shift: 37.5 hours per week – Rotating 3 shift pattern – Days 6am-2pm, Afternoons 2pm-10pm, Nights 10pm-6am

This role is ideal for an experienced Industrial Painter, with knowledge of using 2 pack paint, conventional / pressure pot spray systems as well as spray bake booth operations. This is a varied role inclusive of prepping, sanding, priming, topcoat, sealing, assembly and air assisted painting up to 16 metre products.
About The Role
- Paint spraying heavy engineered, industrial metal
- Using and working with paint spraying equipment; two pack paint, pressure pot spray, air assisted painting
- Ensuring accurate and desired finishes for each project
- Overseeing quality of work and visual inspection
- Stripping, fitting and re-building parts and products where necessary
- Work to specific production schedules
- Complete all administrative procedures relating to paint area
About You
- Proficient in the use of spray equipment and related tools; 2 pack paint and conventional / pressure pot spray systems is essential
- Experience of Rail / Aircraft / Fine Finishing
- Knowledge of spray bake booth operations and general maintenance
- Previous experience of using an airless spray equipment
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings and masking instructions
- A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas

Working Hours
37.5 hours per week – Rotating 3 shift pattern: Week 1: 6am-2pm Monday-Friday; Week 2: 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday; Week 3: 10pm-6am Monday-Friday.
