[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Domiciliary Care Worker to support children with life-limiting conditions in the Horwich area. This role offers flexible shifts, full training, and benefits.
Job Description
We support children with life limiting conditions, that can include learning and physical disabilities, in all aspects of their lives. Our ethos is to be family orientated, professional, hardworking, client led and fun. A happy atmosphere is promoted by the Management, as this adds to the child's and family's environment. We offer team members a variety of shift to suit their availability. We pride ourselves in enabling students to work around their studies.
Appointment to this position will be subject to a successful DBS check and passing the 2 day initial introductory practical / theory mandatory assessment. WE CAN FAST TRACK YOU APPLICATION IF YOUR DBS IS ON THE UPDATE SERVICE & PROVIDE EVIDENCE OF PREVIOUS TRAINING.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a care assistant with disabled children is desirable
- Must be able to drive and have your own car for appointments
- Successful DBS check required
- Completion of mandatory training programme and client specific training
