Job Description

We are recruiting a Group Parts Sales Manager for the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group Trucks Division which includes [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. We are the sole IVECO franchised dealer in N. Ireland and sole Importer for IVECO in the Republic of Ireland. We have dealership sites in Mallusk, Portadown and Dublin and we are supported by a network of regional partners across Ireland. IVECO is an international leader in the development, manufacture, marketing and servicing of a vast range of light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles selling more than 150,000 vehicles each year.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven candidate to lead and develop our parts sales operation across multiple sites. This is a senior role responsible for maximising parts revenue, driving customer retention and ensuring operational excellence across the group. You will develop and deliver a group-wide parts sales strategy and identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts. You will lead a team of Parts Managers and Advisors, implement strategic sales initiatives and build strong relationships with key customers and suppliers.

You are likely to have a sales background from within the automotive sector and/or transport industry. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills and have the capacity to work successfully under pressure and to tight deadlines. You will have an enthusiastic personality, an ability to converse at all levels and the drive to be a top performer. You may already be in a different sector of the automotive or automotive linked industry and want a change of career. This position would ideally suit someone who has an inbuilt belief in their capabilities and an insatiable desire for success.

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience in a senior parts management or parts sales role within a commercial vehicle, automotive or similar environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sales growth and profitability
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering sales growth, margin improvement and cost control
  • Experience managing multi-site operations or regional responsibility
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Strong understanding of parts systems, stock control and supply chain processes
  • Ability to analyse data and translate into actionable strategies
  • Full UK/RoI driving licence

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience within a similar role in a target driven environment within the automotive industry.
  • Experience within a commercial vehicle dealership (HGV/LGV) environment
  • Experience of working in an OEM role
  • Knowledge of Kerridge/CDK or similar dealer management systems
  • Previous experience managing large teams or group-level operations
  • Strong background in trade parts sales (B2B) and key account management
  • Professional sales training or certification
