Electrical/AM2 Assessor

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an Electrical/AM2 Assessor to lead the AM2 NET Electrical Assessment Centre at Guildford College. This is a permanent, full-time role with a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, management, and delivery of a professional and commercial AM2 NET Electrical Assessment Centre based within the resources of Guildford College. You will act as the lead of the Centre ensuring targets are being met within a timely manner, including implementation of an effective operational plan to generate a minimum agreed surplus of income. You will plan and arrange candidate bookings, assess candidate’s portfolios as required, and be associated with the internal Quality Assurance processes.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in Electrical Engineering
  • NVQ Level 3 Installing and Commissioning Electrical Systems & Equipment or equivalent
  • City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 and 2 certificates, or equivalent
  • Level 3 Inspection and Test combined
  • JIB Gold Card
  • Assessor award/Certificate (minimum of knowledge) (completion within 12 months of the first assessment)
