[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Housing Manager to oversee support services, manage facilities, and ensure compliance. Based in Luton. Full training provided. Competitive salary.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee support services such as catering, IT, utilities and physical environment
- Ensure amenities meet health & safety standards and legal requirements
- Manage general upkeep, maintenance and security of estates’ amenities
- Advise on efficient energy use on company and clients’ properties
- Examine housing applications, advise on rent levels, investigate complaints
- Act as arbiter in landlord-tenant disputes
- Discuss clients’ requirements and advise on property purchases
- Negotiate land/property purchases, sales, leases, and tenancy agreements
- Maintain estate accounts and records, produce financial forecasts
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some experience in customer service or administrative roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Willingness to learn
- Customer service orientation
- Basic understanding of property management (desirable)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Patient and empathetic
- Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities
