The Role

Working alongside the dedicated staff members, you will lead and support our programs, ensuring the safety and well-being of our students. Your guidance and supervision will not only promote their welfare but also inspire them to unlock their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise students, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Guide and support students, promoting their potential.
  • Daytime and night-time supervision of students. During the day you will be allocated a group of students who will be your team for the week. During the night supervisors are expected to stay on site with the students in University halls for the duration of the course.
  • Guide students through navigating the virtual systems being used for the event.
  • Available during school holidays and some weekends. Events typically last 3 to 5 days, requiring full availability.

The Person

  • Willing to get involved in activities to encourage students to participate in the event.
  • Interested in STEM subjects.
  • Residential events - willing to travel within the UK and stay overnight.
  • Virtual events - have access to a laptop/PC with a webcam, have a reliable internet connection that can support video calls, and be able to supervise from a quiet space.
  • Background in science, or engineering.
  • Experience working on virtual education programmes.
