Job Description

We are recruiting for skilled and reliable Maintenance people to join our team on a busy highland estate. The ideal candidates will have broad experience across multiple trades and be confident handling both planned and reactive maintenance tasks. Previous experience working within a hospital or hotel maintenance teams preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance, repair, and improvement works across our estate.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to: Plumbing, Electrical systems, Building management systems (BMS), Engineering and ventilation equipment, Painting, decorating, and general building upkeep.
  • Prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors, and management.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy working environment in compliance with health and safety standards.

Desirable Skills & Requirements

  • Proven experience in maintenance roles covering plumbing, electrical, general building services and private water supplies.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering and building management systems.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time and workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.
  • Ability to interact well with colleagues, contractors, and our guests.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise urgent repairs.
  • Full, valid driver’s licence (essential).
