The Role

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a friendly – and growing – business, that is making a tangible difference in reducing plastic waste. We invite you to join us on this exciting journey and contribute to our mission. We are seeking a Customer Support Consultant to join our team here at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], working with secondary schools. Our mission is to provide sustainable and healthy hydration options to these schools, eliminating the 650 million plastic bottles and metal cans used by them each year. Our innovative Drinks Hubs dispensers deliver chilled drinks into students' reusable bottles, reducing waste, saving time and money for schools and giving delicious, healthy drinks which students really enjoy. If you are looking for a rewarding career opportunity, with the ability to still accommodate other commitments, if necessary, this could be just the right fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • You'll be responsible for managing a group of schools within a 90-minute travel radius of your home.
  • Your tasks will include visiting schools every half-term, building relationships with Catering and Business Managers, promoting our products as well as providing basic training and simple servicing of their Hubs.
  • We provide training so you are fully equipped for the role.

Who are we looking for?

  • Ideally based in Doncaster/Leeds/York/Birmingham areas.
  • Own transport is required.
  • A person to develop relations with our existing school catering customers, and new customers as they join us.
  • You will provide promotions, training & assistance, plus basic servicing to customers (don’t worry, you receive fun and supportive training and gain experience from [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] in all these areas).
  • Someone who is happy to liaising with people and forming a supportive point of contact for them.
  • A person with Catering/Education experience would be perfect but is definitely not essential.
  • You will be ‘self-employed’, insomuch as you will invoice us monthly for hours worked, milage and travel and all expenses (we help get you started with this).
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.

Benefits

  • Maximum 3 days/week, term-time only.
  • Flexible within school hours, to fit in with your schedule and life.
  • As a support role, you build good relationships with your clients.
  • All schools you look after will be within a 90-minute travel radius from your home
  • All expenses reimbursed, including mileage.
  • Competitive hourly rate.
  • Opportunity to grow as the company continues to expand
