Job Description

Do you have experience in a fast-paced print environment? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Join the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], a leader in sustainable packaging and paper production, as our Print Assistant. In this role, support our Printers in the setting and operation of the print press. You will also provide general support to the Print Department and assist in board management when required. Key Responsibilities

  • Load sheets into presses and adjust feeding mechanisms for continuous running.
  • Ensure sufficient board stock is available at all times.
  • Scan all materials into the D-365/Chronos system.
  • Move unprinted and printed products around the factory as needed.
  • Operate the pile turner, adhering to lock-off procedures.
  • Perform press maintenance and keep the work area tidy.
  • Assist Printers and support other areas of the factory when required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
  • Provide cover for the board warehouse as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Experience with M.I.S (D-365/Chronos system skills are an advantage).
  • FLT licence (or previous experience) is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge or experience in lithography printing is a plus.
