Location: Lincoln | Salary: Competitive Package | Hours: 42.5hrs per week
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced Estimator to join their Commercial Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and commercially aware professional to play a key role in securing new projects and supporting the continued growth of the business. [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] deliver projects across sectors including healthcare, leisure, retail, refurbishment, and social housing, providing high-quality construction and refurbishment solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for construction and refurbishment projects
- Analysing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
- Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Preparing bills of quantities and cost breakdowns
- Identifying risks and opportunities within tender submissions
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams during the tender process
- Supporting the preparation of tender submissions and documentation
- Attending tender review meetings and assisting with bid strategies
- Maintaining accurate records of tender information and pricing data
- Assisting with value engineering and cost planning during the pre-construction stage
About You
- Previous experience working as an Estimator within the construction industry
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of construction processes
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Conquest experience desirable but not essential, training can be provided
