Location: Lincoln | Salary: Competitive Package | Hours: 42.5hrs per week

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced Estimator to join their Commercial Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and commercially aware professional to play a key role in securing new projects and supporting the continued growth of the business. [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] deliver projects across sectors including healthcare, leisure, retail, refurbishment, and social housing, providing high-quality construction and refurbishment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates for construction and refurbishment projects
  • Analysing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
  • Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations
  • Preparing bills of quantities and cost breakdowns
  • Identifying risks and opportunities within tender submissions
  • Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams during the tender process
  • Supporting the preparation of tender submissions and documentation
  • Attending tender review meetings and assisting with bid strategies
  • Maintaining accurate records of tender information and pricing data
  • Assisting with value engineering and cost planning during the pre-construction stage

About You

  • Previous experience working as an Estimator within the construction industry
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of construction processes
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Conquest experience desirable but not essential, training can be provided
