As a European Planning Logistics Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless transport operations, working with a team that values precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage customer enquiries and orders via phone and email, ensuring they are accurately loaded onto the system.
  • Book and track shipments, liaising with suppliers to coordinate transport effectively.
  • Provide customers with quotations, updates on job progress, and exceptional service.
  • Close out job files by obtaining necessary documentation such as PODs and scanning them onto the system.
  • Review routes and suppliers to maximise cost efficiency and profitability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, accounts, and the warehouse, to ensure smooth processes and clear communication.

What You Will Bring:

  • A solid understanding of the transport and freight forwarding industry; European planning experience is essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office, email, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to prioritise tasks and resolve issues effectively.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to remain focused under pressure.

Location and Working Hours: Fully on-site in Redditch, Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (40 hours per week).
