What You Will Do:

• Develop and maintain Verification & Validation plans for battery control software and hardware.
• Own and manage requirements related to certification, including compliance with standards like REG.100 and UN38.3.
• Set up and manage Model-in-the-Loop (MiL), Software-in-the-Loop (SiL), and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) test environments.
• Design, build, and maintain test benches and procedures for automated and manual testing.
• Execute integration testing of supervisory controllers, Battery Management Systems (BMS), and Cell Monitoring Units (CMUs).
• Analyse test results, identify issues, and drive resolution through root cause analysis and collaboration.

What You Will Bring:

• A degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Control Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing and operating MiL/SiL/HiL testing environments.
• Strong understanding of battery control systems, including supervisory logic, BMS, and CMUs.
• Excellent documentation skills to support software deployment, production release, and certification processes.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Additional Information

Location: The role is based in Didcot at least 3 days a week, at the company's core engineering and development hub, offering state-of-the-art facilities and is commutable from Abingdon, Didcot, Oxford and Newbury.
