What You Will Do
- Define and implement testing frameworks for cloud systems, including platforms and APIs, using agile methodologies.
- Develop and utilise automation tools to support testing processes and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with the Site Reliability Engineering team to ensure systems meet required SLAs and SLOs.
- Establish testing quality stages and gates within the software development lifecycle.
- Implement test strategies, processes, and tools in CI/CD pipelines to maintain continual quality.
- Mentor and coach less experienced engineers while driving process improvements.
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience in automated software testing (ideally 5+ years), with a strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle.
- Expertise with tools such as Robot, Selenium, Postman, or Cypress.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or another object-oriented programming language.
- Knowledge of relational database technologies like MySQL and familiarity with software quality tools such as SonarQube.
- A passion for practices like Test-Driven Development and Pair Programming, coupled with excellent communication and mentoring skills.
