Are growing food manufacturer are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to join their technical and quality department. What You Will Do

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the technical team, ensuring all processes and standards are consistently delivered to the highest level.
  • Provide expert technical support across departments, including production, travel, and events, ensuring operational needs and compliance requirements are met.
  • Prepare for and manage external audits, including BRCGS Food Standard and SALSA, maintaining documentation and systems for seamless performance.
  • Champion quality and continuous improvement by implementing, monitoring, and enhancing quality systems and processes.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, conducting root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Conduct internal audits and manage verification activities, ensuring product integrity and compliance with food safety standards.

What You Will Bring

  • Proven experience in food manufacturing, specifically within High Care, High Risk, and Ready-to-Eat product environments.
  • Strong background in technical or quality management, with exposure to BRCGS, SALSA, and customer audit processes.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a team.
  • Deep understanding of HACCP, food safety legislation, and quality management systems.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, capable of driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.
