Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a highly skilled team within the delivery of engineered products across a range of sectors, fostering performance, accountability, and a collaborative culture.
  • Drive and deliver against strategic growth plans to achieve sustainable revenue while increasing in sales and margin improvement.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, engaging proactively with key accounts while expanding services and products to meet customer demands.
  • Oversee all operational activities focused on reducing waste, increasing performance and delivering long-term financial stability through effective systems, processes and procedures.
  • Manage all profit and loss activities, customer and supplier relations, productivity demands and daily leadership of an SME within a low to medium volume niche engineering environment.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of driving business growth and profitability ideally within an SME.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen having the ability to create, develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Experience in supplier development and negotiation, particularly within a manufacturing and/or engineering related industry, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
