An opportunity has arisen to join the Service Department as a Field Breakdown Engineer. This role would suit an electrically or mechanically qualified engineer. Full training will be provided, with the successful candidate becoming a key member of the Service Team.

Job Description
This UK-based role involves supporting customers with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] machines. Duties include installation, programming, and breakdown support across a range of machines, including milling, turning centres, and 5-axis machines.
Reporting to the Service Co-ordinator, the role is ideally suited to an engineer based in the South East. Regular travel is required, including working away across the UK and Ireland.
Essential Criteria
- Basic programme experience (Mazak / Siemens / Heidenhain)
- Understanding of machine tool levelling, alignment, and geometry
- Knowledge of different control systems
- Experience with Mazatrol controls and [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] machines
- Professional, customer-focused approach
- Flexible, with willingness to work overtime and weekends
- Clean driving licence
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Transferable skills across multiple machine models
Desirable Criteria
- 5-axis knowledge
- Experience of report writing
