About the Job
Our client, [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years. Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC press brake machines safely and efficiently,
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical diagrams, and job specifications,
- Select, install, and adjust tooling to meet job requirements,
- Perform quality checks and ensure all parts meet required tolerances,
- Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed,
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work area in line with 5S standards in Order,
- Actively participate in Kaizen activities, contributing to continuous improvement of processes, safety, and productivity,
- Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams,
- Complete production documentation accurately.
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience operating CNC press brake machinery (required),
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes,
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings,
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills,
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality,
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team,
- Flexibility to work additional hours when require.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with JP, Bystronic, or similar machinery,
- Basic programming knowledge (CNC press brake),
- Forklift licence or overhead crane experience (advantage).
