About the Job

Our client, [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years. Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC press brake machines safely and efficiently,
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical diagrams, and job specifications,
  • Select, install, and adjust tooling to meet job requirements,
  • Perform quality checks and ensure all parts meet required tolerances,
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed,
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work area in line with 5S standards in Order,
  • Actively participate in Kaizen activities, contributing to continuous improvement of processes, safety, and productivity,
  • Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams,
  • Complete production documentation accurately.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience operating CNC press brake machinery (required),
  • Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes,
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings,
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills,
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality,
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team,
  • Flexibility to work additional hours when require.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with JP, Bystronic, or similar machinery,
  • Basic programming knowledge (CNC press brake),
  • Forklift licence or overhead crane experience (advantage).
