Job Description
As an Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Engineer in the nuclear industry, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems for nuclear power plants. You will work closely with a team of engineers to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing control systems for nuclear power plants
- Performing system analysis and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborating with other engineers and technicians to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Developing maintenance and testing procedures for control systems
- Participating in plant upgrades and modifications to improve efficiency and safety
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in instrumentation and control engineering, preferably in the nuclear industry
- Strong knowledge of control systems, PLC programming, and SCADA systems
- Familiarity with nuclear safety regulations and industry standards
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
